Maat - Egyptian Goddess of Balance
A beautiful black figurine of Maat - the Egyptian goddess of Truth and Balance. The ostrich plume on her head represents the delicate balance between order and chaos. Maat was the daughter of Sun god Ra. Pharaohs worshiped her and asked for her for guidance to bring order out of chaos.
The figurine is cast in black resin and is 4" (10cm) tall.

Statue of Seth
Standing figure of the god Seth. Cast in coral effect resin.
Initialy Seth was known as the god of wind and the desert storms and an ally of his brother Osiris. Later Seth fell into disfavour with Egyptians and they started to associate him with evil and chaos. A legend tells that Seth kills Osiris and claims his throne. He is later conquered by Horus, the son of Osiris. Horus fights the chaos and restores order to the world.
Dimensions: 8,5cm (3.5") tall.
